Privacy Policy

HolyMoly is a domino game for adults 18 and over, run by IntelliArch AI Consulting LLC ("we", "us") in Florida. This policy explains what we collect when you play at https://holymoly.intelliarch-ai.com or in the HolyMoly app, why, who helps us run the game, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Your game profile. Your table name, character design and nickname, the lines you choose for the table, your HolyMoly Credits (HMC) balance and history, levels, venues, game results, friends, clubs and notifications.
Sign-in details. If you sign in with Google, Microsoft or Apple, we receive an account identifier from that provider, and your name and email address if the provider shares them. We never see your password. Without signing in, you play as a guest, identified only by a random code in a cookie on your device.
Your phone number, only if you add it. If you choose to get game requests by text, we keep the number you enter, your choice of texts, the time you agreed, and whether you confirmed it with a code.
Your age confirmation. We record that you confirmed you are 18 or older, and when.
Purchases. If you buy credits, we keep a record of the purchase: the pack, the credits, the price, and the reference number from the store or payment company. Card and bank details go directly to Stripe, Apple or Google. We never receive or store them.
Phone app details. If you allow notifications in the HolyMoly app, we keep the notification address your phone gives the app, so game requests can reach you.
Technical logs. Pages requested, errors and timing, to keep the game running and fix problems. These are kept for up to 30 days.

How we use it

To run the game: your seat, your credits, your tables, your friends and clubs, and your progress across devices.
To send you what you asked for: game requests in the app, by push notification, and by text if you turned texts on. Also phone confirmation codes.
To process and verify purchases, handle refunds and chargebacks, and keep the accounting records the law requires.
To keep the game fair and safe: enforcing the age limit, preventing abuse and fixing problems.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Text messages

We text you only if you add your number in Settings, choose texts, agree to receive them, and confirm the number with a code. We text only confirmation codes and game requests from people who invite you.
Message frequency varies with how often friends invite you. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. You can also turn texts off or remove your number in Settings at any time.
We do not share or sell your phone number or your consent to receive texts with any third party for their marketing or any other purpose. Our text provider, Twilio, processes your number only to deliver our messages to you.

What other players see

Your table name, character and title are shown at the tables you join. Your public player card, which anyone with your player code can open, shows your table name, character, title, neighborhood, level, games played and won, your clubs, and your friends' table names. Club members see the club's standings. Your phone number, email address and sign-in provider are never shown to other players.

Who helps us run the game

These companies process information for us, only to provide their service:

Microsoft Azure: hosting, the database, logs and monitoring. If portrait generation is offered, also the AI service that turns your character design into a portrait.
Google, Microsoft and Apple: sign-in, if you choose them.
Twilio: text messages, if you turn them on.
Stripe: credit purchases on the website. Apple and Google: purchases in their app stores.
Google Firebase and Apple: push notifications to the HolyMoly app.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect players, the game or our rights. If the business is sold or merged, this policy would continue to apply to your information.

Cookies

The website uses only the cookies it needs to work. They:

keep your guest profile on your device
keep you signed in
remember an invitation link you followed
protect forms from forgery
keep your connection on the same server

We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

Download your data: Settings, then "Download my data".
Delete your account: Settings, then delete. Your profile, portrait and phone number are removed. We keep purchase records only as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Turn off texts or notifications: Settings, reply STOP to a text, or use your phone's notification settings.
Correct your details: change your name, character and phone number in Settings, or write to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your profile until you delete it. Technical logs are kept for up to 30 days. Purchase records are kept as long as the law requires.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and stored in Microsoft Azure. The game's servers sign in to the database and secret store with their own managed identity, so no passwords are kept in code. Phone confirmation codes are stored only as a one-way hash.

Adults only

HolyMoly is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has an account, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. If the change is significant, we will tell you in the game.
